When You'd Need It
It happens to careful drivers too. The gauge reads wrong, a detour runs longer than expected, or traffic on I-12 at rush hour burns more fuel than you planned. Walking to a gas station along an interstate or a busy road like Florida Boulevard isn't safe, and many stations don't lend gas cans anymore.
What We Do
We bring fuel to your vehicle and put enough in to get you to a station and fill up. It's often quicker and cheaper than a tow, because your car never leaves the spot.
Tell us whether your vehicle takes regular gasoline or diesel. Putting the wrong fuel in can cause serious damage, so we confirm before we pour.
What To Expect
After we add fuel, some vehicles need a few tries to restart while the fuel system primes. Diesels that ran completely dry can be stubborn. If the engine still won't start after fuel is added, the problem may be something else, and we can talk about a jump or a tow.
What To Have Ready When You Call
- Gas or diesel, and the vehicle's year, make and model
- Your location or the nearest exit or cross street
- Whether the car ran out completely or sputtered and stalled
- Whether the fuel door or cap needs a key
Then call (225) 937-3372, open 24/7.
